Dehl Energy (“Dehl,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides independent commercial electric billing audit and recovery services. We are not a utility, retail electric provider, or broker affiliated with any utility company.
2. Our services
We review commercial electric bills and related account information to identify possible billing errors, overcharges, misapplied rates, and savings opportunities. If we identify recoverable amounts, we may assist you in pursuing refunds or corrections with your utility or supplier.
- Audits are free to request and free to run.
- You are not obligated to proceed with recovery after receiving findings.
- We do not guarantee that any error, refund, or savings will be found.
3. Contingent fees
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, our fee is contingent on recovery. If we recover money or secure savings on your behalf, our fee is taken from that recovery or savings — not charged to you upfront. If we find nothing, you owe nothing for the audit.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and business information.
- Provide bills and account materials you are authorized to share.
- Authorize us, where needed, to communicate with your utility or supplier about billing issues you ask us to pursue.
- Not use our site or services for unlawful purposes.
5. No guarantee of results
Utility billing rules, refund windows, and dispute outcomes vary by market and provider. Past examples on our site are illustrative only. We do not promise a specific refund amount, timeline, or outcome.
6. Independent service
Dehl Energy is an independent audit service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of any utility, transmission/distribution company, or retail electric provider unless we expressly say so in writing for a specific engagement.
7. Website use
You may use this website for lawful business purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it in a way that harms our systems, or misrepresent your identity when contacting us.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dehl Energy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific engagement will not exceed the fees we actually received from you for that engagement (which, under our contingent model, is typically zero unless recovery occurs).
